West Potomac Crew needs your help! As part of our 2025 regatta season, we are required to fill 32 volunteer positions to support race operations. This is a great opportunity to be part of the action and help ensure a successful season for our rowers. It is also mandatory for us as a team, so if you're not already volunteering for us this is a great way to fulfill your volunteering obligation.

Job descriptions are available on the VASRA website. Most roles require no prior experience or physical exertion, but please review the job notes before signing up. One exception is for “Launch Boat Drivers.” If you sign up for this role, you must attend a mandatory training session on a Saturday in March (dates TBD). And you won't miss your kid's race! If your child's race is during your shift, let the VASRA organizer know—they will accommodate you.

Spring Tag Day - March 1st
We have our final fundraiser of the season, Tag Day, on March 1 at 8715 Winthrop Drive from 8:30-1pm. Please help us raise money and enjoy pizza with your teammates and pick an item from our swag table! We will need parent volunteers to help drive and students need to sign up with the link below.

Are you are interested in joining a fun, inclusive, and growing club sport? Then look no further than Crew at West Potomac High School! The WestPo Crew team is looking for athletes interested in developing strong teamwork and leadership skills. No athletic or rowing experience needed to join and the coaches require only a genuine commitment to attendance with a team-first attitude.
