West Po Crew – Dues and Refunds Policy for 2023-2024
The West Po Crew 2023- 2024 payment due dates, annual dues, minimum fundraising requirement through the Ergathon, and refund policy are as follows:
i. Payment Dates, Dues, Fundraising Amount:
1. December 1, 2023: $300, first payment (non-refundable)
2. February 1, 2024: $575, second payment
3. February 16, 2024: $250, minimum raised through Ergathon Fundraising or pay the difference.
Registration will open November 1. All athletes participating in winter conditioning, which begins the week after Thanksgiving, must be registered to participate. While we hope we can accept all interested and motivated students, the team size IS limited. We strongly recommend registering by December 1 (even if the athlete is not participating in winter conditioning).
The team reserves the right to close registration (and/or conduct tryouts) if our numbers reach capacity. Conversely, we may allow athletes to join after the second payment deadline of February 1 if space still permits.
ii. Refund Policy:
1. Novice: If requested in writing before Feb. 26, 2024: $575. No refund after that date.
2. In limited situations, where there is a doctor-certified medical condition or family emergency and a refund is requested in writing before March 22, 2024, athletes are eligible for a refund of $150.
Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available based on financial need, commitment, and on the recommendation of the coach. Contact president@wpcrew.org for scholarship inquiries.
Each parent of a registered rower is required to sign the refund form in iCrew.
