Natalie Lorca, a 2017 West Potomac High School graduate, has committed to row for the University of Minnesota crew team next year. Lorca started her rowing career as a freshman at West Potomac and continued to excel with her boat placing 1st at the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Associations state championships in 2015 and 2016 and placing 7th and 6th at Nationals. Additionally, Natalie consistently maintained a 3.5 or better GPA and rowed for Old Dominion Boat Club and Thompson Boat Club.
While at the University of Minnesota, Natalie will major and Animal Sciences with a minor in Spanish, to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
